Rental: $600 per week
Check-in after 3 P.M. Sunday; check-out by 10 A.M. Sunday.
Payment: Within 10 days of making a reservation, a rental lease contract will be sent to the renter. All persons that are to occupy the cottage must be named on the lease. One-half of the rental amount ($300 per week) is due with the return of the signed lease, along with a $200 security deposit. The remainder of the rental fee must be received no later than 30 days before check-in.
Assuming there is no damage to cottage and no inordinately high charges for electricity or cleaning, the $200 security deposit will be returned 30 to 45 days after check-out.
In the event of cancellation for any reason (change in plans, medical emergency, etc.) 1/2 of the first week's rental will be forfeited but the $200 security deposit will be returned.
Location: Loon's Lair is just a 45-minute drive from Bangor International Airport, a 2-hour drive from Portland or a 5-hour drive from Boston. Commuter flights serve the Bar Harbor airport, which is about 20 minutes away.
Please, no groups, no pets, no smoking.
